Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to join our team at Genesis Healthcare. As a CNA, you will work alongside a Licensed/Registered Nurse to directly impact patients'/residents' quality of life by assisting with their activities of daily living (ADLs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients/residents with ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Ensure patients/residents receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients/residents and their families
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Support the Genesis Employee Foundation and Employee Assistance Program
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program and current certification required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
