Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist Role

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This critical role plays a vital part in the cardiovascular program by preparing equipment and ensuring a sterile environment during procedures.

The ideal candidate will have specialized qualifications, including certifications in radiologic technology and advanced life support training, and excellent communication skills to interact closely with patients and medical staff. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - Cardiology, you will provide essential care and support in the cardiac catheterization lab, maintaining high standards of patient care.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing equipment before and during procedures
  • Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
  • Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
  • Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participating in the orientation of new staff
  • Using downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
  • Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
