Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietetic Technician to join our team at the University of North Carolina. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our research initiatives, particularly in the area of precision health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure and prepare food products for research studies, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct participant data collection, including obtaining measurements and providing instructions.
  • Work closely with research teams to ensure successful implementation of study protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in food service, with a focus on healthcare dietetics or related healthcare work.
  • Basic organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn other data management software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in nutritional science, culinary trades, or clinical research.
  • Nutrition or food service experience, with knowledge of food safety, preparation, and composition.
  • ServSafe certification.
