Job Title: CT Technologist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist Lead to join our team at WellStar Health System, Inc. in Austell, Georgia.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist Lead will be responsible for leading a team of CT Technologists in providing high-quality patient care and imaging services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computed tomography, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of CT Technologists in providing high-quality patient care and imaging services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of the CT department.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Provide training and guidance to CT Technologists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of imaging services, including ensuring that all imaging procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification in radiography and computed tomography.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 1 year of experience in CT.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Certification in a related field, such as quality improvement or patient safety.
