Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual labor tasks, such as cleaning and preparing the job site, loading and delivering materials, and setting up and taking down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary shoring.
  • Assist craft workers with various tasks, including using hand tools and power tools.
  • Follow project plans and instructions from the Foreman and Field Civil Superintendent.
  • Perform material handling and storage tasks, including loading, unloading, hauling, and hoisting materials.
  • Operate air, electric, and pneumatic hand tools.
  • Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment, removing construction debris and trash, sweeping the area clean, and securing the job site each day.
  • Clean and maintain equipment used on the job.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and participate in safety meetings.
  • Review daily task assignments and clarify any material needs with the supervisor.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Requirements:
  • One year of experience as a Construction Laborer preferred.
  • OSHA-30 or OSHA-10 Construction Industry Safety Certification preferred.
  • Previous experience with underground utilities preferred.
  • Ability to pass drug and background screening.
