As an Energy Tax Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients to provide expert advice and guidance on various tax-related matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert tax consulting services to clients in the energy industry, focusing on Green Energy.
  • Interpret and apply tax regulations and incentives such as the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and the Production Tax Credit (PTC).
  • Conduct comprehensive tax research and analysis to ensure clients are fully utilizing available tax incentives and credits.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns and reports for clients in the energy industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their tax needs are met and exceeded.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations that could impact clients and provide proactive advice and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in tax consulting, with a specific focus on the energy industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and incentives in the energy sector, particularly the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and the Production Tax Credit (PTC).
  • Proven experience in Green Energy consulting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and development in tax consulting and the energy industry.
