Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Per Diem Staff Nurse to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a Per Diem Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide high-quality patient education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Act as a role model and mentor for new staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
