- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other specialists, to communicate observations, assessments, and recommendations for patient care.
- Coordination and Documentation: Coordinate and facilitate the rapid response team's actions, ensuring seamless transitions between departments and units as needed, and maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Patient Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding the patient's condition, treatment plan, and potential outcomes.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and evidence-based protocols for rapid response situations.
- Emergency Preparedness: Stay current with the latest advancements in emergency medical care and maintain readiness to respond effectively to a wide range of medical emergencies.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for patients' needs and rights, ensuring that care is delivered with compassion, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
- Education and Licensure: BSN required, DC RN License, or eligibility.
- Experience: Min of 3 years of Nursing experience in Critical Care settings.
- Certifications: ACLS.
