Job Title: Assembly Technician II

Belcan is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician II to join our team. As an Assembly Technician II, you will be responsible for assembling and testing products in accordance with documented work instructions to ensure the units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test products in accordance with documented work instructions
  • Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards
  • Interpret assembly drawings and process flow instructions
  • Must be trained across all assembly stages
  • Work under minimal supervision
  • Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals
  • Resolve most questions and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher levels
  • Identify quality and reliability issues and submit recommendations for improvements
  • Maintain workplace organization
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school or secondary education in electronics technology strongly preferred
  • Two (2) years prior electronic assembly experience required
  • Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required
  • Must be willing to work overtime as necessary
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment
