Are you dedicated to fostering growth and learning in young individuals? At Discovery Ranch, we are in search of a passionate Science Educator to become a vital part of our committed academic team.
Our facility offers a therapeutic environment for young men embarking on their journey of healing. Located adjacent to the breathtaking Uinta National Forest, our residential treatment center employs a relationship-focused and experiential therapy methodology.
As a Science Educator, you will be instrumental in delivering conventional classroom instruction to a varied student population. Our students hail from diverse backgrounds and confront numerous challenges, including emotional, behavioral, and substance use issues. These challenges may encompass anxiety, depression, trauma, unhealthy relationships, and substance misuse.
We seek an inspiring, innovative, and devoted educator who recognizes the unique strengths of our students and can assist them in realizing their potential through academic achievement.
In collaboration with our broader team, you will provide integrated educational services that address both the academic and therapeutic needs of our students.
By nurturing positive relationships, crafting engaging and challenging experiences, and employing a strengths-based approach, you will play a significant role in the healing journey and foster meaningful change for our students.

Part-time Position: 2-4 evenings a week | 4-8:30 pm | $19-21/hour DOE

Requirements:
- Your resume should detail education, work experience, certifications, and licenses.
- Must be 21 years of age or older (specific positions may vary).
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
- Must obtain a current Utah driver's license within 30 days of employment.
- 1st Aid & CPR certification (may be provided).
- ICC certification (may be provided).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current teaching license in the State of Utah.
