Adjunct Instructor in Electrical Systems Technology

Nature of Duties:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive lesson plans and standardized course outlines for technical and vocational courses. You will evaluate student performance, participate in professional development activities, and instruct courses related to Electrical Systems in a simulated industrial setting. Staying current with industry advancements is essential, as is providing both theoretical and hands-on knowledge of Electrical Systems while assessing student outcomes for ongoing enhancement.
Requirements:
- Completion of a diploma in Industrial Electrical Technology, Electrical Systems Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of practical experience within the last seven years.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An associate degree in industrial electrical technology or a related field is preferred.
- Possession of relevant industry certifications.
- Experience teaching at the postsecondary level is advantageous.
Salary/Benefits:
- Compensation is provided on a per-contact-hour basis.
- All adjunct roles are part-time and temporary in nature.
- No benefits or guarantee of full-time employment are offered.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
Applicants interested in the Adjunct Pool must submit their transcripts, resumes, and certifications. A new application is required for each academic year. Compensation for adjuncts is based on contact hours, with courses conducted face-to-face, typically from Monday to Thursday, during morning and evening hours.
