Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Serve as a professional role model, providing leadership, support, and guidance to nursing staff.
  • Performance Management: Maintain nursing staff job performance through multiple intervention practices in collaboration with Director of Nursing, Human Resources, or Facility Administrator, as needed.
  • Quality Care: Ensure nursing staff provide a safe, healthy environment and utilize proper techniques and approaches.
  • Documentation: Ensure proper documentation is completed by nursing staff.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with residents, families, vendors, and interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care.
  • Compliance and Quality Improvement: Participate in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits, and processes.
  • Staff Evaluations and Development: Complete nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education, and supervision.
  • Quality Monitoring: Ensure continued delivery of high-quality nursing care by monitoring direct care and conducting audits.
  • On-Call Duties: Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
Requirements
  • Valid RN License: Possess a valid RN license in the State of PA.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a RN in acute care or long-term care setting is preferred.
