Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated People & Culture Generalist to join our team at JR Butler Inc. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in shaping the company culture and ensuring a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective HR strategies to drive business growth and employee engagement.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address talent development needs, and implement training programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, and maintain accurate records of employee data.
  • Coordinate employee communications, including company-wide announcements and benefits enrollment.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive company culture, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management on employee retention and turnover.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR, and implement innovative solutions to improve employee experience.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including OSHA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Paycom experience preferred, but not required.

  • $56,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience plus bonus opportunities.
