Job Title: RN Endoscopy GI Days

Job Summary:

Amergis is seeking a skilled Endoscopy RN to join our team. As an Endoscopy RN, you will be responsible for planning and administering care to patients undergoing diagnostic endoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and plan care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures
  • Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient response
  • Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures, including colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and ERCP
  • Document patient assessment, treatment, and response to care
  • Provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
  • 1 year of experience in a GI/Endo lab within the last 3 years preferred
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
