Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health issues.
Responsibilities:- Assess the mental health status of patients with behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with medical providers and mental health staff in the design and delivery of patient care.
- Administer and monitor the effectiveness and side-effects of psychotropic medications.
- Assist patients and families in interpreting and managing maladaptive behaviors and planning healthy lifestyle changes.
- Exercise balanced judgment in evaluation situations and make decisions to handle difficult or confrontational situations in a professional manner.
- Active RN License
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS Certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Psychiatric setting
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility
- Weekly pay and direct deposit
