Job Title: Final Line Mechanic I

At PDS Tech, we are seeking a skilled Final Line Mechanic I to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our assembly team, you will play a crucial role in the final assembly of cutting-edge aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, install, and adjust structural parts and systems, including rigging control cables, landing gear, engines, and aircraft entry doors.
  • Perform repairs by removing and replacing components, cutting and fitting system lines, ensuring all work meets conformity standards.
  • Ensure all installations are defect-free before final inspection and update necessary logs and records.
  • Use various tools and equipment to successfully complete installations and minor structural work.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in aerospace/aviation or equivalent mechanical work such as auto mechanics, heavy equipment. An A&P license can offset the experience requirement.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams. Proficiency with tools for drilling, reaming, and fitting parts.
