The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Olathe, KS. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing testing to evaluate resident status.
- Contribute to the assessment of residents and develop care plans to meet their physical and psychosocial needs.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care provided, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
