Job Summary

Excela Health is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services to patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide holistic, patient-centered care
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, including medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests
  • Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patients' responses to anesthesia
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
  • Current PA RN license, Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
  • Healthcare Provider CPR, ACLS, Act 33/73 Clearances
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CRNA

  • Occasional standing, walking, and sitting
  • Frequent reaching, grasping, and finger manipulation
  • Constant seeing and hearing
  • Occasional exposure to dust, noise, and electrical energy

Physical Demands

  • Sedentary to light physical activity
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, and pushing
