ResponsibilitiesThe duties of the Law Enforcement Officer include:
- Safeguarding the integrity of the legislative environment.
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of candidates during the hiring process.
- Administering pre-employment screenings, including psychological, medical, and polygraph examinations.
- Overseeing the Physical Readiness Test (PRT) to ensure candidates meet the physical demands of the role.
- Executing comprehensive background investigations to verify candidates' histories and qualifications.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years old and not older than 39 at the time of appointment.
