Coilcraft, a leading manufacturer of magnetic components, is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in the custom machine design and build department.

**Responsibilities:**

  • PLC Programming: Design and implement Programmable Logical Controls (PLCs) to optimize the performance of our machinery, reducing cycle times and increasing uptime.
  • Control System Design: Develop control systems for high-performance automated machines, including researching and selecting new components, creating panel layouts and schematics, building programming sequences, and troubleshooting.
  • Automation Expertise: Utilize a wide range of control systems, including PLCs, servo systems, stepper systems, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), power supplies, motion controllers, and communication loops.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Electrical Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in programming PLCs.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products for documentation.
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for schematic documentation.
  • Knowledge of vision systems is a valuable asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration within our team.
