About This Job

This is a unique opportunity to join Leidos Holding as a Cybersecurity Systems Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our digital assets from evolving cyber threats. Your primary responsibilities will include providing cyber technical support for the Cyber Operations Security Operations Center (CSOC), configuring, tuning, optimizing, and maintaining critical security infrastructure, and overseeing the operation and maintenance of essential cybersecurity systems. You will also collaborate with cybersecurity stakeholders to define and implement effective configurations for SIEM, EDR, and network access control solutions, and fine-tune EDR policies, rulesets, and scanning parameters to enhance endpoint visibility and threat detection capabilities. Additionally, you will configure network access control policies within Forescout to enforce security posture and mitigate risks associated with unauthorized devices.

Key Performance Indicators

Your success as a Cybersecurity Systems Analyst will be measured by your ability to:
  • Provide effective cyber technical support for the Cyber Operations Security Operations Center (CSOC)
  • Configure, tune, optimize, and maintain critical security infrastructure
  • Oversight the operation and maintenance of essential cybersecurity systems
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity stakeholders to define and implement effective configurations for SIEM, EDR, and network access control solutions
  • Fine-tune EDR policies, rulesets, and scanning parameters to enhance endpoint visibility and threat detection capabilities
  • Configure network access control policies within Forescout to enforce security posture and mitigate risks associated with unauthorized devices

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field and eight years of relevant experience are required for this position. Additionally, proficiency in Linux environments, including system administration tasks and shell scripting for automation and understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and best practices for configuring and tuning security tools are also required.
