Responsibilities:
Provide direct, professional nursing care to patients in the acute care settingDevelop personalized plans of care based on individualized needsMaintain confidentiality of patient medical recordsCounsel and educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plansAdminister medication following established protocolsPerform wound care and dressing changes as necessaryRead and interpret patient information to inform treatment decisionsConsult with physicians to determine best course of treatmentNursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomesObserve and record patient behavior and response to interventionsDemonstrate quality, safe, and effective patient careDelegate tasks to unlicensed assistive staff and LPNsDemonstrate core values of compassion, accountability, respect, teamwork, and integrityParticipate in quality improvement initiativesProvide timely and accurate documentation of patient careRequired Skills and Qualifications:
- Nursing Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification
- Registered Nurse licensure
- Experience in relevant specialty (desired)
