Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Janitor/Cleaner is to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within the facility. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks aimed at ensuring the building remains in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regularly sanitize high-touch surfaces including doors, tables, and counters.
  2. Ensure restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
  3. Wash windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  4. Dispose of waste in offices and common areas.
  5. Mop and clean tile and hard surface flooring.
  6. Dust and clean various surfaces, including light fixtures and ceiling corners.
  7. Restock supplies in break areas as needed.
  8. Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and breakroom areas, including appliances.
  9. Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift as required.
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 35 pounds; heavier items may require assistance.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and adherence to them.
  • Proficient in English for effective communication, both verbally and in writing.

Education and Experience:

A High School Diploma or GED is required. Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
