About the Role

Holcim US is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team at the Thackerville Plant. As a key member of our production operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the activities of workers engaged in the production operations of the Aggregates division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee activities of workers engaged in production operations of the Aggregates division
  • Responsible for work planning, scheduling, directing, performing, and evaluating the repair and servicing of equipment
  • Establish deadlines and modify work schedules to meet deadlines
  • Determine what materials need to be produced and establish production goals
  • Provide estimates of materials, costs, and timelines for production
  • Inspect actual performance and supervise and assist subordinate employees
  • Inspect work facilities to determine proper utilization and maintenance and adherence to safety regulations
  • Participate in the preparation of specifications for new and existing construction equipment
  • Maintain an effective system of communication with supervisors and customers serviced
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 - 5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Strong knowledge and understanding related to company products, processes, and equipment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent people skills and have high potential for strong leadership development
  • Able to handle multiple responsibilities at one time and must be able to deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach
  • Knowledge and upkeep of any required computer applications used to support the duties
