Salary: $23-28/hour
Job Overview:
As a member of our oral & maxillofacial surgeon practice, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and contributing to our mission to empower healthcare professionals. With a focus on safety, comfort, and excellence, we strive to create a positive experience for every patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients, educating them on specific procedures and treatment options
- Ensure seamless follow-up and post-surgical care for patients
- Create a welcoming and safe environment for patients in the exam room
- Administer IVs and collect blood samples as needed
- Maintain and update essential equipment, including the crash cart
- Facilitate communication between patients, specialists, and insurance providers
- Document critical patient information using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Support surgical teams by assisting with room setup and medication preparation
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Licensed LPN with CPR certification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Proven track record in IV administration and phlebotomy
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Malpractice insurance coverage
