Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for acutely ill patients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Perform assigned procedures within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.
- Float from department to department, providing care in various settings.
- Graduate of a program of Registered Nursing.
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse License or compact state nursing license giving the ability to practice in Iowa.
- Current BCLS verification.
- ACLS verification within 6 months of hire if covering Emergency Department and/or Intensive Care Unit.
- PALS verification within 6 months of hire if covering Emergency Department.
