Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Hope Network New Passages. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide direct clinical services in an outpatient setting, working with individuals, families, and groups to improve the quality of life for people with co-occurring severe mental and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide treatment for dual diagnosis as an integrated approach, where both the mental health issue and the substance use issue are treated simultaneously, and by the same treatment provider.
  • Evaluate and treat the interplay between client substance use and his or her mood problems.
  • Identify emergency crisis and make immediate clinical assessments.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of persons-served and evaluate effectiveness of treatment plan goals and interventions.
  • Facilitate access to community resources and social support networks for persons-served.
Requirements
  • You are passionate about serving individuals with behavioral health needs.
  • You demonstrate high degree of personal integrity, generate positive energy, and make a difference every day.
  • Experience and/or specialized training in substance abuse required.
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
  • Limited Licensed Social Worker (LLMSW) or Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) required.
  • Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred.
