About the Role:We are seeking a Dishroom Sanitizer to join our team at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. As a Dishroom Sanitizer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitized environment for our patients and staff.
About the Job:
Job Responsibilities:- Maintaining Order and Sanitation: You will be responsible for maintaining dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.
- Washing and Polishing: You will scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to the dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. You will also wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures.
- Polishing Silverware: You will polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths depending on assigned equipment and procedures.
- Ensuring Safety Compliance: You will ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
- Maintaining Kitchen Cleanliness: You will keep the dish area tidy and in compliance with safety standards. You will also sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Benefits and Compensation:
