We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Maine. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with psychiatric illnesses.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and identify available resources to ensure optimal care.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in mental health nursing.
- Valid State of Maine RN license.
- BLS Certification required.
- CPI training must be current prior to start.
- At least 1 year previous experience in mental health nursing required.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to manage stress appropriately and make decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility required to provide coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
St. Mary's Regional Medical Center is a comprehensive behavioral healthcare facility that provides a supportive and dynamic work environment. Our Crisis Psychiatric Unit offers care to patients aged 5 and up with psychiatric illnesses, and some patients may also require medical care.
