The primary objective of this role is to expertly set up, operate, and maintain CNC and screw machine equipment for the production of precision parts. We are seeking skilled machinists with a strong background in all phases of machining.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of safety by adhering to quality management systems, FDA regulations, and company policies.
  • Operate screw machines with minimal assistance, ensuring efficient production meets cycle time, yield, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain dimensional accuracy of parts through monitoring and making adjustments to equipment as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues with minimal support, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Verify revision levels for ongoing operations and complete necessary documentation for current tasks.
  • Inspect parts visually and dimensionally using proper equipment to ensure they meet requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in machine shop operations, including working with screw machines and CNC equipment or holding a journeyman machinist certification.
  • Proficient in reading, interpreting, and understanding blueprints, as well as maintaining tight tolerances while working with small precision parts.
  • Strong understanding of shop math, with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:
