About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ombudsman District Investigator to join our team at Novalink Solutions LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into complaints filed by long-term care facility residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site assessments of long-term care facilities to gather information and evidence
  • Analyze data and evidence collected during investigations to identify patterns and trends
  • Investigate and resolve complaints filed by residents in a fair and timely manner
  • Collaborate with the District Ombudsman Manager (DOM) to prepare for and attend monthly ombudsman district council meetings
  • Enter complaint, case, and assessment information into web-based documentation systems
  • Track inventory of office items, including forms, brochures, promotional items, office supplies, and electronic equipment

Requirements:

  • 1 year of professional office experience
  • Strong data entry and typing skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
  • Knowledge of the rules governing Ombudsman investigations and assessments
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and facility staff
