Position Details:
  • Area: Medical OT-8HR Class: RECT Shift: 1 Start: 07:00:00 End: 15:30:00
Certification from the National Council for Therapeutic Certification (NCTRC) or the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification (CBRPC) is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient requirements
  • Review medical documentation
  • Engage in personal observations and discussions with patients and their families
  • Implement a tailored therapeutic program based on individual patient needs
  • Stay informed about community and therapeutic resources to effectively assist patients
  • Record patient progress during activities
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience within the last 36 months as a Recreational Therapist
  • Strong ability to establish rapport with patients
  • Empathetic and nurturing attitude
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association)
