Job Title: Software Engineer in Test

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer in Test to join our team at Addison Group. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving our automation framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the automation goals for the department
  • Design, implement, and improve company automation framework
  • Manage automation test environments, ensuring software and test data is acceptable for the testing performed
  • Assist with and utilize the pipeline that executes the automation tests
  • Create Java-based automation test cases and perform code reviews on team members' tests
  • Analyze data to find areas for growth
  • Execute manual and automated test cases, including ad-hoc and exploratory testing as needed
  • Back-end, API, and integration testing
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of coding experience with Java and experience with SQL
  • Expertise in using Selenium, Selenide, and Appium for mobile automation
  • Experience interfacing with software developers and other team managers on process improvements and key activities
  • Proven ability to develop an automation framework or relevant experience in creating automated tests
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience with TestRail or similar test case management systems
