How You'll Contribute

As a mobile radiologic technologist, your responsibilities will include:

Utilizing a company-provided vehicle that is equipped with a compact, portable x-ray system (DR) to travel locally and perform x-ray procedures for patients in various settings. You will support a diverse patient demographic, including adults, seniors, women, and children. Depending on the market, you may also be involved in EKGs, Holter Monitoring, and Pacemaker Evaluations. Daily Responsibilities

Your daily activities as a mobile radiologic technologist will encompass:

Traveling by vehicle to conduct portable x-ray examinations in a variety of environments, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, residential homes, and other patient locations. Assessing and determining appropriate electronic and technical parameters based on patient requirements. Adhering to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure. Preparing accurate physician and patient orders and transmitting results as required in a timely manner. Setting, adjusting, and operating various electronic equipment to obtain diagnostic images, which may include EKGs and Holter Monitoring. Ensuring that all equipment is functional and ready for use prior to the start and conclusion of each shift. Assisting with order management, validation of studies, communication with interpreting radiologists, customer follow-ups, and other administrative support tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Must meet all state-specific and federal regulations to perform portable x-rays, including one or more of the following: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R) or Limited Scope X-ray Operator — in accordance with state-specific requirements; State x-ray license (if applicable) Possess a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a clean driving record Capability to lift or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to navigate stairs easily while carrying equipment Willingness to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
