About the Post-Production Supervisor Role
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Post-Production Supervisor will be tasked with ensuring the timely completion of all video assets, delivering content across various platforms while maintaining a high standard of quality.

As the pivotal figure in the post-production process, you will manage post requests from different departments and communicate timelines effectively.

Collaboration with Producers, the Marketing team, and Project Leads will be essential to implement the overall post-production strategy for each content piece.

Your Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations of the post-production department
• Conduct Quality Control (QC); schedule uploads to YouTube, and verify every new episode
• Strategically place YouTube and Podcast advertisements to enhance revenue and optimize listener experience
• Manage YouTube and Podcast administrative tasks and backlog initiatives
• Supervise all YouTube-related activities, including posting, monitoring comment sentiment, managing monetization flags, and resolving errors
• Assist with on-set shoots and Instagram Live sessions as required
• Support the Media Manager to ensure adherence to proper footage ingestion and backup protocols
• Communicate updates regarding fieldwork, footage, or projects to the Producing and Post teams
• Organize deliverables and oversee the delivery of episode masters
• Troubleshoot and investigate recurring technical issues with the assistance of the Post-Tech team
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to finalize episodes and additional content; screen and provide QC feedback during the finishing phase
• Coordinate Podcast script reviews and recording sessions
• Perform additional production and post-production duties as assigned.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $68,000 to $78,000 annually, depending on experience.

Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Post Coordinator or Assistant Editor role within a studio or agency setting
• Prior experience with a major YouTube or Podcast channel is highly preferred
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, with knowledge of Final Cut X being advantageous
• Technical expertise in video editing
• Familiarity with organizational platforms such as Google Suite
• Comprehensive understanding of studio production processes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks concurrently.
• Skilled in researching innovative methods to enhance post-production workflows and backup systems, staying updated on emerging trends.
