Provider Services Coordinator

- Collaborate with various departmental teams to manage service requests from providers and office personnel, addressing inquiries and facilitating call routing to the provider support line.
- Assist in provider management tasks related to data upkeep, credentialing processes, directory oversight, and intake requests.
- Investigate, resolve, document, and respond accurately to inquiries and service requests from providers, practices, business partners, or administrators.
- Coordinate communication with providers, practices, and other departments to ensure the availability of accurate information to meet business requirements.
- Organize Committee meetings, document findings in formal minutes, and inform staff of decisions made by the Committee.
- Oversee and maintain essential provider information across various systems.
- Regularly review quality assurance reports of team members and collaborate with leadership to prepare follow-up documentation.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming provider calls, data cleanup initiatives, and specific team email requests.
- Assist in the client and regulatory audit processes, including gathering necessary documentation and reviewing provider files for accuracy.
- Acquire industry knowledge to foster relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Support the recredentialing process and audit functions in accordance with NCQA and client standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of requested information.
- Uphold high standards in all written and verbal communications with providers.
- Two to four years of general office experience
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Capable of reading and writing at a level necessary to perform the above tasks
- Proven ability to identify issues and offer innovative solutions
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
