Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain good rapport and cooperative relationships with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
  • Approach conflict in a constructive manner and participate in problem-solving and resolution.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
  • Assume responsibility for performance of job duties in the safest possible manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with knowledge and skills to perform duties effectively.
  • Behave in accordance with Trinity Health's Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Provide quality patient care by considering age-specific, developmental, and cultural needs.
  • Identify and assist in resolution of problems related to safety, sanitation, and maintenance of the environment.
  • Practice effective communication in all interactions.
  • Promote a positive work environment by demonstrating teamwork.
  • Perform cardiac ultrasound and stress echocardiograms following American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines.
  • Knowledgeable in all ASE guidelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Professional.
  • Perform EKG's, Event, and Holter monitors.
  • Assist with department patient workflow and facilitating throughput.
  • Maintain Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL) standards.
Requirements
  • Current licensure to practice in the State of Michigan.
  • Excellent skills in communication, team building, problem solving, and analysis of department activities.
