Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Tek Tree LLC. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement structural design and construction plans that meet local and federal regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections and reviews of design and construction plans to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve site and design conditions, and propose cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and maintain accurate records of inspections and reviews.
  • Provide cost estimates and take-offs for contract modifications, and determine compliance of workmanship, materials, and installed work with contract requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in structural engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in design and construction, with a strong background in structural analysis and design.
  • Professional engineering license registration and maintenance of same throughout tenure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of building, safety, and environmental codes, as well as governmental contracting procedures and principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with commercial hospital construction and tower crane design, construction, and operations.
  • Knowledge of environmental, civil, safety, architectural, mechanical, and electrical fields.
