We are seeking a Chief Utilization Management Officer - Registered Nurse to join our team at John Medical Center. This role will provide strategic direction and oversight of the day-to-day operations of utilization management function within the insurance plan.

Job Summary

The Chief Utilization Management Officer - Registered Nurse will be responsible for ensuring integration of utilization management functions with network strategy and claims processing. This includes managing activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. The ideal candidate will also develop systems and processes for prospective, concurrent and retrospective utilization review for all self-funded and fully insured clients to implement and manage comprehensive outpatient and inpatient utilization management programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight of the day-to-day operations of utilization management function within the insurance plan.
  • Ensure integration of utilization management functions with network strategy and claims processing.
  • Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Develop systems and processes for prospective, concurrent and retrospective utilization review for all self-funded and fully insured clients.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
About the Opportunity

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
