Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a diagnostic ultrasound specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality vascular ultrasound services in a hospital and/or clinical setting. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating blood flow in vessels and imaging blood vessels to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various vascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing diagnostic vascular procedures using knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the age of the patient served.
  • Communicating effectively with vascular surgeons and/or radiologists to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assisting with patient transport and managing exam review, restocking supplies, and quality assurance functions.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a vascular lab department or a related field.
  • Successful completion of a JRCERT-approved program or a CAAHEP-accredited Ultrasound program.
  • Registration as a Sonography Technologist with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
