Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Hays Medical Center. This role is crucial for providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
  • PALS certification is required for PACU RNs and preferred for OR RNs.
  • NRP certification is necessary for RNs in NICU and Labor & Delivery.
  • TNCC certification is required for specific specialties.
  • EFM - AWHONN Intermediate certification is required for Labor & Delivery RNs.
  • National Tech Cert Verification is needed for certain positions.
  • Compliance with HIPAA Safety Manual is essential.
  • STABLE certification is required for NICU RNs.
  • Verification of State License and NURSYS is mandatory.
  • NIH Stroke Certification is required for specific specialties.
  • CPI certification is required for some specialties.
  • Completion of Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam is necessary.
  • Competency Exam is required as applicable to the profession/specialty.
Job Details
  • Position/Specialty: PCU RN
  • Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year experience with IV Start
  • Weekend Requirement: Weekend rotation is necessary.
  • On-call Requirement: No on-call duties.
  • Floating Requirement: Yes, clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs.
  • Block Scheduling: No block scheduling greater than 3 or 4 shifts.
  • Local Candidates: Accepted within a 60-mile radius.
  • Pending License: Not accepted.
  • RTO Restrictions: Any requests for time off must be approved and documented prior to the start of the assignment.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week.
Job Requirements
