About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse at Cleveland Clinic, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient condition, and communicate with healthcare team members as needed.
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs, and provide teaching and educational material as appropriate.
  • Administer Medications and Treatments: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Maintain Professional Growth and Development: Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Certifications: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA), and other certifications as required by the facility.
  • Work Experience: Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required for acute care settings.
Physical Requirements
  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
