Senior SAP MM Solution Architect
This role demands a seasoned professional who will contribute significantly to various stages of the consulting lifecycle. You will be deeply engaged in business process consulting, identifying challenges, proposing solutions, and crafting effective strategies. Your involvement will extend to the development, configuration, and deployment of comprehensive solutions. You will mentor teams on project methodologies, deliverables, and assist in proposal creation, client education, and enhancing internal capabilities while clearly defining project scope. This position offers the chance to create impactful consulting solutions that empower our clients to adapt to the evolving global landscape.
Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution is required. Consideration will also be given to candidates with three years of progressive experience in the field for each year of education not completed.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology is essential.
- U.S. Citizens and individuals authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
- This position requires a commitment to working from the office daily.
Desirable Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in the SAP MM module, including two full lifecycle implementations of S/4 HANA.
- Proficient in analyzing business requirements, delivering conceptual and detailed designs to fulfill business needs, executing necessary SAP configurations, drafting detailed specifications for ABAP custom developments, and testing and implementing automated solutions.
- Strong practical experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration, and system integration is crucial.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with B2B Integration and system-to-system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interfacing methods are vital.
- Extensive expertise in SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces, and user exits is required.
- Experience with Master Data projects and Enterprise Portal is advantageous.
- Ability to read ABAP code is necessary.
- Proficient in writing functional and technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces.
- Collaborating with business users to define project scope and gather requirements is essential.
- Testing and deployment of the final product are part of the responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and communication skills are important.
- Excellent planning and coordination abilities are necessary.
The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Effective communication through various channels is required. Travel may be necessary based on job demands.
