PYP Educator

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PYP Teacher to join our team at Creation Kids Village. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, promoting a love of learning, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Lead a grade-level classroom, responsible for all aspects of student development and classroom growth.
• Develop and implement stimulating curriculum to enhance student learning experiences.
• Create a nurturing educational environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement IB expectations and promote a transdisciplinary approach to instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students and promote inclusive learning.
• Partner with parents and guardians to address student needs and promote parental involvement.
• Foster a positive working environment for self and colleagues, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices and IB standards.
• Attend regular staff meetings and PLCs to share best practices and collaborate with colleagues.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in the educational field.
• Relevant teaching experience in Elementary School (3+ years preferred).
• Past teaching experience in the IB.
• Demonstrated record of reliability in previous employment.
• Ability to adapt to new technology and integrate it into the classroom.
• Flexibility in the classroom and with colleagues, with a willingness to collaborate and adapt to changing circumstances.

The successful candidate must be able to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid, and see and read newsprint with or without corrective lenses. They must also be able to speak and be understood under normal circumstances, lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds, and use arms, hands, legs, and feet with or without corrective devices to accomplish the job, including evacuation of the building during emergencies.
