Responsibilities
  • Assess patient status, develop, and implement individualized care plans to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Provide high-quality patient care, focusing on delivering compassionate and empathetic treatment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in educational programs to stay current on advances in nursing care and evidence-based practices.
  • Orient and educate new staff members on nursing techniques and departmental procedures.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah or obtain one within 90 days of hire under the interstate compact.
  • Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system.
  • Demonstrated leadership, human relations, and effective communication skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands

This position involves intensive work that may exert up to 100 pounds and requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, such as medical equipment, or patients while providing medical care.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year.
