Position Overview:
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Portfolio Insights team within the Portfolio Management group.

This role is essential in preparing, assessing, analyzing, and summarizing portfolio performance on both a fund and investment level, which is vital for supporting the strategic initiatives and valuations of Private Equity.

The team is tasked with conducting a variety of both ad hoc and routine analyses related to portfolio performance, monitoring, and reporting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine templates for data collection and analysis of asset-level metrics, ensuring consistency across the portfolio.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze performance data at the asset, fund, and portfolio levels.
  • Update KPI dashboards for portfolio companies to reflect actual performance, conducting variance analyses against plans and evaluating value creation drivers throughout the investment holding period.
  • Assist in enhancing portfolio monitoring and valuation reporting processes and analytics.
  • Engage in discussions and provide deliverables to various stakeholders, including Deal Teams, Portfolio Operations, Asset Managers, and Senior Management.
  • Support the portfolio review process and participate in various ad hoc initiatives and projects.
  • Contribute to improving the Finance Group's reporting processes and analytics.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field is preferred, though strong candidates from other disciplines may be considered; a solid academic record is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial or business analytics capacity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and meet competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment or independently.
  • Familiarity with iLevel, Alteryx, and Tableau is advantageous.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, or other programming languages is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required.

Compensation:
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000.

The actual base salary will be determined by various factors, including the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.

For positions located outside of the US, please note that the posted salary bands do not apply, as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.


Additional Compensation:
The base salary does not encompass other forms of compensation or benefits associated with the advertised role.
