Job Summary:

St. Catherine University is seeking a dedicated and experienced Public Health Professor to join our team. As an assistant professor of public health, you will be responsible for teaching and advising undergraduate public health students, providing service to the department, university, and profession, and engaging in scholarship and scholarly work.

This is a 9-month full-time, tenure-track position scheduled to begin in the Fall term of 2025. You will have the opportunity to teach at the graduate level and contribute to the development of our public health program.

We are looking for a candidate with experience teaching college-level students or working as a graduate teaching assistant in public health or a closely related field. A doctorate in public health or a related field is required, with ABD applicants considered if they have earned their doctorate by the time of hire.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in public health, including biostatistics, epidemiology, and environmental health.
  • Advise undergraduate public health students and provide guidance on course selection and career paths.
  • Contribute to the development of the public health program, including curriculum design and implementation.
  • Engage in scholarship and scholarly work, including research and publication.
