About the Role:
Cabinet Maker/Finisher Job Description:
You will be involved in the entire cabinet-making process from matching materials for wood species, color, grain, and texture, to setting up and operating machines like power saws, jointers, planers, and shapers. Your tasks will include:
- Trimming parts to ensure snug fits
- Boring holes for screws or dowels
- Assembling parts with glue and clamps
- Driving fasteners to reinforce joints
- Preparing surfaces and joints for finishing
We are open to both skilled cabinet makers and entry-level candidates with a basic understanding of wood concepts. Key skills include:
- Cabinet making
- Ability to read blueprints
- Woodworking
- Operating woodworking machinery
- Using hand and power tools
