Job Summary

As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the coordination and implementation of solid waste management programs and initiatives within Hamilton County, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of solid waste management programs, including waste reduction, recycling, and disposal strategies.
  • Community Outreach and Engagement: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with various communities, businesses, and institutional representatives to provide technical assistance, identify needs, and develop solutions.
  • Technical Support and Documentation: Provide technical support, records, and documentation to communities and/or businesses, and assist in the preparation of bid specifications, grant requests, etc.
  • Program Evaluation and Reporting: Evaluate program effectiveness and create reports, and attend promotional events, meetings, and seminars as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in science, public administration, business, education, or a related environmental field.
  • Experience: One to three years of relevant work experience, depending on the position.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
