The Sr Surgical Technologist position at Quality Talent Group requires a skilled professional to provide support in the operating room. The ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge and skills to carry out delegated tasks associated with safe and efficient operating room support functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and nursing staff to support the patient during vaginal delivery and/or surgical procedure.
  • Perform competently the surgical tech role in the provision of surgical assistance during a variety of obstetrical procedures.
  • Assist the circulating RN with sponge, instrument, needle, and other surgical counts.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military training equivalency.
  • Two years as a Surgical Technologist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) or Technologist in Surgery-Certified (NCCT).
  • Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
Work Environment

The Sr Surgical Technologist will work in a fast-paced operating room environment, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills.
